Monolithic Saberstaff
The Monolithic Saberstaff is a Retired Monolithic double bladed lightsaber that can be found in Star Wars: The Old Republic. The Monolithic Saberstaff can only be used at a specific level and up, but if you are higher than the weapon's required level, you can wear it cosmetically in the Outfitter to show its appearance on your character while using a higher-level weapon in your Gear tab for stats.
How to Get: Retired Monolithic
This is not a direct screenshot of the Monolithic Saberstaff. The file name is citadel-mk-2-saberstaff-7277-thumbnail.png - as far as I can tell it is identical to another weapon, so I re-used the screenshots. There may be small variations that I could not tell apart when comparing thumbnails, previews or item icons.
Sound: Desolator
All Lightsabers with the Desolator sound type have the same sound, including the Monolithic Saberstaff. This isn't the official name, and this Lightsaber sound type may be labelled something like weaponmeleelightsaberelite09 in the background of the game.
I do not have a video of the Monolithic Saberstaff, but you can watch a video of the Acolyte's Saberstaff weapon to hear the Desolator sound type, which is the same as the Monolithic Saberstaff.
How to Get Retired Monolithic Weapons
Retired Monolithic weapons are retired, which means they are no longer obtainable. You might be able to find a similar look-alike weapon below.
Other Names
This weapon has multiple varieties - they are gotten the same way, and look the same, but have different names because they have diferent stats attached to them for gearing variations.
- Monolithic Duelist's Saberstaff
- Monolithic Force-lord's Saberstaff
- Monolithic Saberstaff
Identical Weapons
These weapons will have an identical or very similar look to the Monolithic Saberstaff. There's no real name for the appearance, but I've labelled it dualsaberhigh30a02v02 which may be a name I call all identical weapons, or a name in the game files.

Similar Sounding 'Desolator' Weapons
These Double Bladed Lightsaber weapons will have the same sound as the Citadel MK-2 Saberstaff. There's no real name for the sound, but I've called it 'Desolator' it may be called something like weaponmeleelightsaberelite09 in the game files.
